USEPA 8-HOUR HAZWOPER REFRESHER
Every year for the last 25 years, EPA Emergency Response in Southern California has provided numerous local agencies with in-person 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher Training. In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, EPA was unable to present these trainings in-person. To make up for this, EPA Emergency Response has transformed their live 8-Hour Refresher Training into a narrated virtual PowerPoint Class which will remain available post-COVID as well. The 8-Hour Refresher consists of 13 modules which are listed below. Each Module, except for 6 and 7 have an accompanying Worksheet. Modules 6 and 7 have a combined worksheet. Module 14 contains the final exam.

USEPA MERCURY RESPONSE AND CLEANUP
The course curriculum for this online training includes but is not limited to: EPA’s Emergency Response and Mercury Program, Chemical Characteristics and Behavior, Human Health and Ecological Effects, Instrumentation, Response/Assessment/Screening, Cleanup/Disposal, and Enforcement. Additionally, several case studies are included throughout the modules.

USEPA DESCENT INTO MADNESS – MAD CHEMIST COLLECTORS
This class will discuss the Mad Chemist, otherwise known as chemical hoarders. The course curriculum includes but is not limited to: Identifying and Hoarders, Mad Chemist Examples, Chemical Classes and Hazard Identification at Mad Chemist Sites, Contamination and Cleanup/Disposal, and Enforcement Case Studies.
